The Students and teachers at The Victorian College for the Deaf have been getting busy, here's an update from teacher linda Sweatman:
We have met with out architects Antony and Jim. The first week we learnt about what an architect is and saw some amazing buildings, which fired all of our imaginations! We talked about the places made us happy and students planned and presented their own happy spaces. Students loved spaces that were, cosy, had things like TV's and DVD players, and most importantly were fun!
The second week we explored the school looking for great site for our cubby. We learnt about sunlight, trees, direction of the sun, wind and rain and how that would impact on our cubby. The students picked a great space...and now to work!!
